Dear all,

We are working on a project named "Birds of the Ural Mountains, their
Environs and Western Siberia: a Sound Guide" to be published on 4 CDs
together with a booklet. Though the title itself refers to a limited
region,
the species found here are distributed much more widely, for instance
in
European Russia, as well as in Eastern Siberia and the Far East. The
songs and most typical calls of about 400 species will be included. I
hope
it will
be published in 2003. The price will be within a standard European
rate.

We are trying to get an idea of how many copies should be printed, and
also how many English language (as opposed to Russian) booklets will
be needed. We would therefore request anyone who is interested in
obtaining one or more copies to please send in a preliminary
expression
of interest. This does not oblige you to buy.
